About Michael Niden

As a proud third-generation resident of Needham, I’ve had the privilege of watching my hometown grow into a thriving part of MetroWest Boston—while preserving the close-knit spirit that makes it so special. With deep roots and decades of community involvement, I bring a unique and valuable perspective to the local real estate market.

My in-depth knowledge of Needham’s neighborhoods, zoning and conservation regulations, schools, businesses, and civic organizations gives my clients a distinct advantage. When you work with me, you gain more than a real estate advisor—you gain a trusted local expert committed to your success.

Since 2018, I’ve focused on delivering a boutique-level, highly personalized experience. Whether you’re buying, selling, or investing, I tailor every step of the process to meet your specific goals. My approach is grounded in clear communication, strategic marketing, and up-to-the-minute industry insights—all backed by proven sales expertise.

That sales acumen traces back to my entrepreneurial roots. While at Needham High School, I launched a painting business that funded my degree at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. After college, I joined Xerox Corporation, where I was nationally recognized as a two-time recipient of the Top U.S. Sales Representative Award. I bring the same dedication, drive, and integrity to my real estate practice—always working to earn your trust, your referrals, and your repeat business for years to come.

I am also an active member of the Needham community:

  • Founder Great Hall Concert Series

  • Founder Jazz in the Sanctuary

  • Member Needham Board of Assessors

  • Former member Needham Council for Arts and Culture

  • President of the Citizens for the Preservation of Town Hall

  • Resident Manager of the new NC Wyeth Research Foundation and Library

  • Needham Town Meeting Member

  • Past Board member of the Needham History Center and Museum

  • Past Chairperson of the Needham High School Distinguished Career Award

  • Co-founder of The House Next Door, a home for abused women or women in transition

When I’m not working or volunteering, I enjoy time outdoors—canoeing the Charles River, sailing in Martha’s Vineyard Sound, or skiing throughout the winter months with my daughter Emma.
